NINE POINT EIGHT INC. LIMITED WARRANTY
Nine Point Eight Inc. warrants our products for original factory defects in materials or workmanship, extended to the original purchaser (non transferrable) for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
This warranty does not apply to products that have been incorrectly installed and/or adjusted according to the respective Nine Point Eight Inc. user manual. The Nine Point Eight Inc. user manuals can be found online at 9point8.ca This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact, abuse of the product, non-compliance with manufacturers specifications of usage or any other circumstances in which the product has been subjected to forces or loads beyond its design. This warranty does not apply when the product has been modified. This warranty does not apply when the serial number or production code has been deliberately altered, defaced or removed. This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts of different manufacturers. This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts that are not compatible, suitable and/or authorized by manufacturer.
This warranty shall not cover damages resulting from commercial (rental) use.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear. Wear and tear parts are subject to damage as a result of normal use, failure to service according to manufacturer recommendations and/or riding or installation in conditions or applications other than recommended.
Wear and tear parts are identified as:
• Stripped threads (aluminum, titanium, magnesium or steel)
• Fasteners (aluminum, titanium, magnesium or steel)
• Upper and lower tube
• Control cables (inner and outer)
• Hex key wear (rounding of corners)
This warranty gives the customer specific legal rights. The customer may also have other rights which vary from province to province in Canada, state to state in USA, and from country to country elsewhere in the world. To the extent that this warranty statement is inconsistent with the local law, this warranty shall be deemed modified to be consistent with such law, under such local law, certain disclaimers and limitations of this warranty statement may apply to the customer.
Except as described herein, Nine Point Eight Inc. makes no other warranties, guaranties, or representations of any type (express or implied), and all warranties (including any implied warranties of reasonable care, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose) are hereby disclaimed.
To the extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall Nine Point Eight Inc. or its third party suppliers be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

We will help you through the process. Some shipping or re-stocking charges may apply; contact us for details. Substantial fees may be levied if you return product without first obtaining an RA number from 9point8 Customer Service, or if you don't follow the instructions provided by 9point8 Customer Service.
9point8 Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are dissatisfied with our products within 30 days of receiving them, you may return them to us for a full refund of the purchase price.
Satisfaction Return Process (Canada and Lower 48 States, USA)
|Step 1:||Contact our Customer Service team [877-799-0839; email@example.com] and work with them to resolve any issues. This step is mandatory.|
|Step 2:||If dissatisfied after working with Customer Service, you may return the product(s) for a refund of the purchase price, less return fees. Ask Customer Service for an RA number and shipping label [877-799-0839; firstname.lastname@example.org] This step is mandatory to avoid extra fees.|
|Step 3:||9point8 will send you a pre-paid shipping label, pre-addressed to 9point8 Returns.|
|Step 4:||Ship your product to us. Only ship to us using the pre-paid shipping label. We will not accept C.O.D deliveries, nor can we replace packages lost during return shipment. If the merchandise is not being shipped in the original packaging the packaging is your responsibility. We cannot warrant or replace merchandise which is damaged during shipping. Use the original packaging, or a box that is no larger, to avoid extra shipping and handling fees.|
|Step 5:||We will issue a refund of your original bill, less a re-stocking fee that covers shipping, handling, incoming inspection, etc. For a seatpost, it is typically about $36 USD for example.|
9point8 Warranty Return Process
Before making a warranty claim please contact the Reseller that you purchased the product from, or our customer service team [877-799-0839; email@example.com] if you purchased from 9point8. In most cases we can troubleshoot and correct the problem. If you must return the merchandise under warranty, please follow the steps outlined below to deal direct with 9point8.
If you purchased your merchandise from a Reseller you can also return it to them. Their service team can asses the merchandise and make necessary repairs or send it back to our factory for detailed assessment, rebuild or replacement.
The original receipt is required to process warranty returns for merchandise purchased from a Reseller. The Order Number is required for merchandise purchased from the 9point8 website.
Warranty Return Process (Canada and Lower 48 States, USA)
There is no cost to you for a warranty return.
Process Steps (Direct to 9point8):

|Step 4:||Allow us approximately one week to assess and make necessary repairs to your merchandise. If it is found that the damage is not covered under warranty we will contact you with an estimated cost to repair. Once repaired we will ship the merchandise to you to the return address provided at Step 2 and will notify you via email with the carrier tracking number.|
